Gade's Laughter
The river Gade runs through the park near where i lived as a child.. I played in it's shallow water which rippled over the smoothed pebbles beneath making it a fun and beautiful place to play.. the water played over the pebbles, sunlight streamed through the trees over head and the light glistened as the delicately laughing water harmonised with our joy. The experiences we have as children are the essence of the person we become latter in life and now these experiences and joys play a huge role in the design of my work. The touch of the tips of my fingers on the water moving beneath the rickety bridge that crossed it as i, lazily, leant against it's post, my arm dangling free at my side, drenched by the dappled light that the early evening brought about. These are the moments that we should cherish and ensure our children experience with as much freedom as we had... Take every opportunity as it comes and never let the day go by without a fabulous memory created. cX
